I have a huge love for ravens and butterflies alike. I worked for many years as a school gardener, and was fascinated by the family of ravens who nested in the huge Salmon Gum near the main building. I watched generations of them grow, and was always entertained by the goofiness of the juveniles. This piece is a salute to these characters and the joy they gave me.
