It is my aim that your special new piece of art arrives to you safely and in pristine condition. I package all pieces in my home studio, and post them personally with tracking details sent to the buyer.
Please note that artworks on canvas being posted will generally be rolled and posted in a sturdy cardboard tubes. Posting artworks rolled allows me to keep postage cheaper. It will be necessary to have the piece re stretched and framed upon receival.
Works on paper, depending on size, will either be posted flat, or rolled and in a tube .Smaller works will be kept flat.
All prints are carefully sent rolled in a protective tube.
I dispatch all artworks within 5 business days after receipt of payment, unless otherwise discussed with the buyer.
Australian buyers should receive their art within 2 weeks.
International buyers, this will depend on destination and shipping providers. Please allow up to 6 weeks for some destinations especially EU, UK and USA..
Please note your country may charge import duties and taxes, which are not included in the shipping costs and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Damaged items. Please note I inspect each piece carefully before it leaves my studio, and any damages during transport will need thorough documentation with photos before any claims can be made.
Please photograph the packaging before opening if possible, and also the area of damage to the artwork. Please contact me at Gillettphilippa@gmail.com as soon as you receive the item damaged. Please keep the packaging as it may be required when making a claim with the shipping provider.
As you can appreciate, an original artwork cannot be exactly replaced if it arrives damaged, but I will work with you to make the best of the unfortunate situation.
If you have any questions about postage, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss any changes to the general process that may need to be made.
